Repeat prescriptions are not processed over the telephone to avoid mistakes. When you need to re-order, just mark the item(s) you require on the "tear-off portion" of your latest prescription and return it to the surgery. If you do re-order by post and would like the new prescription posted to you, please enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope.

You can also arrange for one of the community pharmacists of your choice to collect your prescription for you and have it made up ready for you to collect. Please contact your nominated chemist if you wish to arrange this service.

Prescriptions are authorised for up to one year before you have to see a doctor again to obtain your medication. Some medication may require you to have  blood checks or other tests before the doctor will re-authorise a further repeat supply. If such test(s) are due you may find your prescription has a special form attached informing you of any tests which you may need.
