The Patient’s Representative Group was formed in May 1995 to help and advise patients of the Surgery of their rights. The Group’s aim is to represent the views of the surgery’s patients in all aspects of health care and services provided by the surgery. At present the group consists of :
Mr Vaughan Harries
Mrs Violet Millar
Mrs Elma Evans
Mrs Tess White
The Group is a member of the National Association for Patient Participation (NAPP) and is therefore able to make its ideas known nationally. They meet monthly in the surgery and are supported and encouraged by the Partners, Practice Manager and the surgery staff.
However, we must emphasis that the Group is independent and separate from the Surgery and its staff.
They can and do act for patients when they have complaints against doctors or the surgery, but happily this has never taken up much of their time.
If there are any ideas or suggestions you would like the Group to raise do not hesitate to contact us as we are always available to assist you.
The partners cannot express enough their thanks and appreciation to this volunteer group in not also raising funds through the patients generosity but in its balanced endeavour to provide better services for the patients of Llynfi and Bryn
