Consultations:
Appointments are available Monday to Friday between 8.40 am and 11.10 am and also 3.10 pm and 5.15 pm. These appointments need to be booked in advance.
For urgent appointments you can ring as soon as possible, preferably in the mornings as we have more doctors available to see you.  For routine appointments please ring after 1.30pm. This will help to prevent congestion on the telephone in the mornings. Thank you for your co-operation.
For urgent appointments please bear in mind that: you may be seen by any doctor , also you may have to “sit & wait” for a space in the doctors normal surgery .  Please note that the doctor will only have time to help you with your urgent problem at this consultation

Home Visits
If you are able to come to the surgery, this would be preferred as the Doctor has access to important diagnostic equipment in the surgery which he is unable to carry with him on house calls. Also the Doctor can carry out four surgery consultations in the time it takes to do a single home visit.
When a visit is necessary it is helpful if your request is made as early as possible. Please telephone the surgery BEFORE 10.30 a.m. If you can with your request. The receptionist may ask you to discuss your request for a home visit with the doctor.
Guidelines for GP’s indicate house visits should be only for the elderly or where patients cannot attend due to their condition.
